The Spiral Nautilus is one of the strongest symbols of natural beauty. Its elegant proportions are based on a controlled asymmetry of 1.6 : -what the ancient Greeks called the "Golden Proportion". We find classic examples of this aesthetic in fine architecture, the human body, and our logo---a series of connected "Golden Triangles" which diagrammatically form a Spiral Nautilus.
